Sometimes we all get tired of homemade food or eating everyday in the canteen, that's why we have the need to go out for a meal, Bratislava has a wide variety of good restaurants, where you can be full for not so much money.
  • Slovak Pub: It iss the classical stop for every tourist in the city, it has organic traditional Slovak food for very good price, and discounts for students (if you score an A in a exam you can have a small meal for free). An average meal can be less than 5€. Certain days it has a dance spectacle, but it includes food and since it's turistic it cost around 20€. Located in Obchodna street.
  • U Zeleného stromu: This will become your favourite place since every Sunday all the menu is 50% off, meaning pizzas for 3€, soups for 90 cent and huge pancakes for 1.20€ at the same time you listen to live music! Located above the H&M of Obchodna street (but the entrance is from the street behind).
  • U Kubitsu: This place is very original, as soon as you get in you will get the feeling of beign in an alternative place (yes, hipster paradise). The food is pricy, a meal can be 12€ but well worth the money, all ingredients are natural and with superior quality and you can feel it in the taste, (it was one of my best meals in this city). It's located very close to the Blue church, in Grosslingova street, on number 26.
  • Divný Fanko: Is a must stop for all meat lovers, you can enjoy a huge pan of potatoes and several kinds of meat that you can see in the picture for just 3.7€. They also have other kinds of food, but all of them with a great price. It has two floors, each one with a different feeling, if you come with a big group I recommend the upper one. It's located in Jozefska street, a few minutes from Obchodna.
  • Panda: It is a small cozy Chinese restaurant, is nothing special if you are used to them but since you have an ISIC you should know that for around 5€ you can have a menu for students which includes spicy soup, drinks, small salad and a big main dish. It is located at the end of Obchodna street.
  • KGB pub: It is also a great place to have beers, but what will surprise you more from this pub located in a cellar is that it will transport you to 1970 at the eastern side of the Iron Curtain, the tables are positioned in a way that resembles a Soviet train and you can have your meal under the eyes of Stalin or Lenin (who has a Captain Morgan hat). If you are student, you can eat the soviet menu here for 3.4€ with food such as Borsch, potato pankakes and soda.
  • Neolit: This place is the most obvious touristical place you can imagine, you can realize as you walk into this prehistoric cave restaurant, the funny thing is that it has a lot of exotic meat such as zebra, crocodile, ostrich, antilope and frogs, the amount of the exotic food in the plate is not too much, and considering that the exotic dishes are about 25€ maybe you would have prefered to have tried other place. They also have Slovak menu for 4€, with the typical food.
  • UFO: Is the restaurant you can see from most parts of the city, since it's in the top of the Most SNP, but is the most expensive one in the city, and in this case price doesn't matches quality, you can go up in the elevator for 4€ and see the views from there, if you eat in the restaurant they will refund the entrance.

More will be added soon!
