Well, I have travelLed a lot, but I come from a privileged land, Aragón, full of ancient towns and mighty legends. This is my way of sharing it with all of you! From high snowed peaks to arid deserts, going through medieval towns, modern architecture and incredible art. Aragón has a lot to offer! Easily reachable from two of the main gateways to Spain, Barcelona and Madrid, Zaragoza (the capital) is exactly located in the middle, it also has direct flights to Brussels, Bergamo and London. It's the perfect spot to begin to discover this incredible land. You can read a fast guide about Zaragoza here. Aragón is an autonomous community located in the northeast of Spain, bordering France. It's also the craddle of the ancient Aragon Crown, which used to rule the mediterranean sea, from Zaragoza to Athens in the Middle Age, later joining with Castille to form the actual Spain in 1492. Nowadays about 1.300.000 people live here, and Aragón itself has 3 provinces, very different from each other: Huesca, Zaragoza and Teruel. With this new section, I want to share all the beautiful places of this region, at the same time as I also discover them. There will be small articles about each place, with precise info and stunning pictures (they won't be encyclopedias, they will highlight the main things, but also show the nice hidden things!). So far, there is one ready: Alquezar. Finally, there is a video that shows my land pretty accurate, check it out! |
